Introduction to the Lean Startup concept
Steve Jobs said, “People think that concentration is saying yes to the thing you want to focus on. But that’s not the point at all. Concentration is saying “no” to the hundreds of other good ideas that are out there. You have to choose carefully.” The Lean Startup method is used to select the best ideas from among hundreds of other ideas. Lean Startup talks about how to design low-cost experiments that will allow you to verify any hypothesis regarding user or customer behavior. During the training, participants:
- learn the assumptions of the Lean Startup concept,
- they will learn which organizations have used the Lean Startup approach and how it has served them,
- they will learn how to build hypotheses,
- will learn how to define product success measures,
- they will learn to collect meaningful opinions from customers,
- analyze how to learn from experiments,
- experience the Lean Startup loop (Build-Measure-Learn) in practice,
- they will learn when to make a decision to pivot, i.e. change the direction of action.
